Current Services
Founded in 2005, Zawiyah Foundation is a registered charitable Islamic centre in Vancouver, Canada that educates and works with youth to spread mercy, peace and love using the guidance of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam. Currently, the following services are offered either out of a small rented space located on the second floor of a commercial building, or out of a hall specially rented for larger functions and events.
Education
- Self-development Qur’an & Islamic classes on improving one’s relationship with Allah (swt)
- Classes for children and adults – Featuring live audio & video web-conferencing
- Publication of Al-Qalam quarterly newsletter
Religious rites & counselling
- 5-times daily Salah, Jum’uah
- Counselling: marriage, family, career, youth & rehabilitation
- Nikah, Aqiqah, Iftars, Eid
Reaching out to community
- Theme-based Monthly Family Dars
- Feed the Hungry Program (for homeless and disadvantaged people in Vancouver’s Downtown)

- Summer Picnics featuring Khutba sermon and BBQ
